Services

At the highest level, our team at AAI conducts research through objective analyses that seeks to drive local, state, and federal policy impacting teens in America’s foster care system. We believe that decisions shaped by quantitative and qualitative data have the power to improve public policy and practice, strengthening communities and transforming lives for the better.

We do this by offering practical, adaptive solutions as follows. All services are generously funded by donors.

Technology + Teachers

American Access Institute offers a blended learning discovery program designed to help teens in foster care determine whether they aim to be career-ready or aim for college access. Each step for pathway options is explained clearly by logging in with a password provided by AAI.
Our technology is available a la carte or in tandem with on-site services provided by highly qualified local teachers we identify, train, and deploy. Teachers selected to serve AAI students are paid a competitive wage through donations.
Again, all services are free to students and affiliated partner organizations.

Easy Implementation

Saying yes requires zero time outside of AAI’s onboarding session, where we partner with you to gather info and co-create a mutually agreeable game plan. Trainings in the Catapult technology utilized by AAI have been piloted in 50 high schools in 7 states. Our support has been created to scaffold an adaptive process that can begin in the freshman year of high school or as late as senior year.
