Nevada Department of Education – February 2026
In February, AAI reached an exciting milestone in our statewide outreach efforts.
Our founder, Dr. Donnelly, had the privilege of sharing AAI’s Catapult Initiative with education and community leaders from across Nevada at a convening hosted by the Nevada Department of Education. This gathering brought together influential voices dedicated to strengthening opportunity and outcomes for students statewide.
Among those in attendance were the Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of Nevada, members of the State Board of Education, leadership from the Clark County School District, and more than two dozen aligned nonprofit partners. Many of these partners collaborate through our expanding community outreach efforts with the United Way of Southern Nevada, reinforcing a shared commitment to student success.

We are especially grateful to our partners at the Children’s Advocacy Alliance for inviting us to participate in this important event. Their leadership in advancing policies and partnerships that support children and families across Nevada continues to make meaningful impact possible.
This moment represents more than a presentation—it marks a significant step forward in our mission. Sharing the Catapult Initiative at the state level reflects growing momentum behind AAI’s work and our leadership’s bold commitment to expanding access and opportunity for students across Nevada.
Our focus remains clear: connecting AAI’s resources to as many students as possible—especially those who face adversity and stand to benefit most from structured, future-focused career pathway support. By aligning with state leaders, district partners, and nonprofit organizations, we are building a stronger ecosystem of support that helps students move from potential to purpose.
We’re proud to share this behind-the-scenes video as a snapshot of progress—and as a reminder that when leaders come together around a common goal, meaningful change is not only possible, it’s already underway.
