Empowering Recovery Through Career Pathways: A New Chapter for Las Vegas Communities

Dr. Donnelly with members of the Vegas Stronger leadership team 3/24/26.

American Access Institute is proud to collaborate on a new initiative supporting unhoused individuals in Las Vegas—equipping them with the tools and training to identify and pursue right-fit careers. This work represents a critical off-boarding phase in partnership with Vegas Stronger, a powerful program serving community members navigating addiction. Once participants complete their mental health recovery and achieve sobriety, they will transition into our Catapult program—where we focus on direction, skills, and sustainable next steps.

Leaders United: Advancing Community Impact Through Collaboration in Las Vegas

Dr. Donnelly attended the Nevada Women’s Fund’s gathering on 3/10/26, surrounded by remarkable female leaders helping shape Southern Nevada.

She was honored to share a table with community champions including Mayor of Henderson Michelle Romero, Henderson City Councilwoman Monica Larson, Children’s Advocacy Alliance’s Annette Dawson, and Christina Vela, CEO of St. Jude’s Ranch.

Being surrounded by such dedicated leaders made the experience especially meaningful, as each brings a unique perspective and unwavering commitment to serving the community.

Events like this are powerful reminders that real progress happens when leaders from government, nonprofit, and business sectors come together with a shared vision. Through collaboration, conversation, and collective action, we can continue strengthening our communities and expanding meaningful opportunities for the next generation.

AAI is thankful that the Wynn Resorts offers support for local nonprofit organizations. The work they are doing seriously elevates what’s possible for collaboration and impact across Las Vegas.

Dr. Donnelly recently attended their invitation-only Charitable Corporate Giving Workshop on 3/19/26, surrounded by a dynamic group of more than 100 leaders like Kathleen Miller—who founded one of AAI’s earliest and most valued partners, Living Grace Homes. Pictured with them here is Monica Moradkhan, Vice President of Community Relations.

We are pleased to announce that AAI has had the honor of being selected to participate in the Social Entrepreneur Accelerator in Seattle this May, an elite program hosted by Deloitte and AWS. Dr. Donnelly will travel with Dr. Laura Hearnesberger for this all-expenses-paid opportunity, which recognizes the potential of AAI to drive systemic change through technology. This engagement provides AAI with high-level mentorship and technical resources from two of the world’s leading organizations, directly supporting the continued scaling of the Catapult LMS for at-risk youth.
