What is Catapult?

What is Catapult?

  • Catapult is a cutting-edge, AI-powered learning platform built to equip foster and other vulnerable teens with the skills they need to thrive in their careers. American Access Institute ensures that these students gain access to Catapult’s strategically designed curriculum, which integrates trauma-informed support with real-world career readiness.
  • Mentors access valuable data to maximize program effectiveness.
  • Students explore ‘The Big Four' pathways other than college (which is also covered but not the focus of this platform). These trainings include cost of attendance, average annual income, and schooling requirements with hotlinks.

Introducing MentorPal

American Access Institute, in collaboration with the University of Southern California’s Institute for Creative Technologies, integrates USC’s MentorPal technology into Catapult. Students receive direct access to AI-generated images of real mentors from dozens of career fields. Students can ask questions and interact, just as if they were in a room with them. This video provides visual examples, clarifying the game-changing experience, awaiting students who are onboarded to the technology.
