What is Catapult?

- Catapult is a fun, interactive learning platform designed to help at-risk teens become career-ready in ten easy trainings.

- Training number one is available for you here on the American Access Institute website with no obligation to create an account. Try it!

- In the full program, students explore ‘The Big Four' pathways other than college (which is also covered, but not the focus of this platform). These trainings include cost of attendance, average annual income, and schooling requirements with hotlinks related to:

  • trade schools
  • military
  • technology upskilling, and
  • entrepreneurship

- Trainings number two through ten are also free. Student groups for nonprofit organizations simply request our support register using our onboarding process as seen HERE.

- Interested in partnering for free? Just email us through the Contact page!

Catapult’s unique sequence of ten trainings gives students best-in-class resources to make viable career plans using reliable data and advice from professionals.

What is the Catapult Helper Guide?

- The Catapult Helper Guide is a PDF document designed to help adult mentors support students as they use the platform.

- Think of these as the teacher’s version of the curriculum. The video on this page shows a brief demo of how it helps.

By the end of ten trainings, students are fully prepared and informed about ‘The Big Four’—from L to R: trade schools, military, technology, and entrepreneurship. Partner organizations can request access to a separate platform to support college readiness for any students aiming for that.

American Access Institute founder Dr. Pamela Donnelly and her dedicated team launch impactful on-site events, like the one pictured here. AAI empowers at-risk teens aged 14 to 18 by demonstrating the transformative benefits of the Catapult platform. All services are provided in collaboration with nonprofit partners.

Hotlinks to community resources in the student’s geographic area help make staying safe and off the streets a cinch.

The final goal of Catapult is to help young adults launch to independence while minimizing stress. Animations and cat-themed images like this keep the tone upbeat while giving carefully curated information. Catapult’s motto? In cats we trust!
